Well.....Part of New Jersey is. North East NJ Is probably the most polluted area of NJ because that area is the closest to NYC. I strongly hate how some people think of NJ as ALL polluted. That is not true. New Jersey has many forest and animals and a ton of things. Western NJ is beautiful Land and it is wonderful. Central NJ is fine but only a little bit of Eastern NJ is polluted. Why do you think NJ is called the GARDEN state? And oh....what state doesn't have a little pollution? That's my question. So please, don't judge the entire state because you heard that it had pollution. Remeber: Not all of it does.
Yes,it is polluted. In fact all the cities are polluted. The pollution levels are same as many big cities like London, new york etc..

No. Portugal is not too polluted. china is the most polluted because of new unfriendly environment equipment and factories.
No, New York City is not the dirtiest city in the U.S. But it can't really be called, "clean," either. In terms of air quality, New York City is pretty dirty. According to the first Related Link below, New York ranks as #8 of the, "Top 10 U.S. Cities Most Polluted by Ozone." But it did not make the list of, "Top 10 U.S. Cities Most Polluted by Year-Round Particle Pollution," nor did it make the list of, "Top 10 U.S. Cities Most Polluted by Short-Term Particle Pollution." According to the second Related Link below, which rates the 50 most dirty U.S. cities (50 being the cleanest, and 1 being the dirtiest), New York City ranks as #11. So, yes, New York City is pretty dirty (although it is not the dirtiest city in the U.S.). But I think it's mostly the air, and the surrounding rivers, that are dirty. New York City is polluted, but, in terms of like, dirty sidewalks and garbage/litter on the streets, New York is very clean. Sometimes you see an overturned garbage can spilling trash all over the street, or a garbage bag on the curb that has been torn open by rodents. But overall, there is not much litter on the streets, and the streets and sidewalks are pretty clean (not encrusted with filth and foul-smelling gunk).

Well, for starters, they are two completely different places that are located about 2,000 miles apart from each other. New York City is a city, and Montana is a state. New York City is located in the Northeastern United States, while Montana is located in the Northwest. New York City is densely populated and urban, while Montana is rural and sparsely populated. New York City's air is badly polluted, while Montana's is relatively clean. New York City is exceptionally culturally diverse, while Montana is not. New York City has no cows, while Montana has lots of them. New York City is 3 words, while Montana is 1. There's no "a" in "New York City," while there are 2 in "Montana." There are thousands and thousands of other differences, as well. Too many to list here.
