Also because they live the the Arctic rabbit is easy prey as these Wolves and most breeds (dogs) have an extremely keen sense of smell so they are able to pick up the scent of a rabbit that is burowed underground. It is a hard life there so what ever they can hunt and kill is what they do

∙ 6y agoArctic foxes diet consists of many small mammals such as hares and lemmings. Arctic foxes will also eat small birds. If they can get them, the Arctic fox will also eat eggs, carrion, fish. When food is scarce in winter they may even eat seal pups.
