yes!
Foreign countries were given total control over trade in China. <---novaNET!!
Believe it or not, there are benifts from unfair (international) trade practice. For example, China engages in such unfair practices such as under priced currency, and the lack of acknowledgement to intelectual property rights. The US recognizes such violations but doesn't enforce them. So in certain situations as odd as it may seem one can actually flurrish! (as in the example of China's economy)
China fell under the complete control of foreign countries. Novanet - foreign countries were given total control over trade in China
you just did =) this is unfair treatment. that game is unfair
Trade is unfair because the government etc. Pay people less money than you would think but Fair Trade is The complete opposite
An unfair trade could affect people in many different ways. One way it could affect people is one person is happy and the other is sad with what they have. If you trade someone a $500.00 iPod for a cookie, that would be an unfair trade.
In short, China had to accept the opium trade. Britain, in particular, really gained from this. They made the Chinese sign two treaties, both of which were remarkably unfair. These treaties gave the British the right to open ports in China for wholly unrestricted trade. The same treaties made China hand over Hong Kong to Britain and provided for fixed tariffs. Other countries tried to make similarly unfair deals with China, and violence would break out over these same issues again and again.

Unfair traders are usually endowed with the cash to influence our politicians.
Federal Trade Commission
The United States opposed China's bid to join the World Trade Organization (WTO) primarily due to concerns over China's trade practices, including allegations of unfair subsidies, intellectual property theft, and lack of transparency. The U.S. feared that China's accession would exacerbate trade imbalances and allow it to leverage its state-controlled economy to undercut competitors. Additionally, there were worries about the potential for increased market access without corresponding commitments to fair trade practices. These factors contributed to the U.S. stance against China’s entry into the WTO.
