Made a food purchase at my favorite Walmart in Santa Clara and apparently now they start charging EBT customers for the CRV. For a long time EBT covered that charge, but they no longer do when I asked the store employees why, they don’t know.

Ever wonder where all those recycling machines that used to be in front of markets went? Why are recycling centers few and far between and paying by the pound at ridiculous rates??? Pocket hundreds of millions and use the excuse "reinvest in public awareness" by putting some tiny stickers about recycling inside stores windows here and there? nothing more. And they think we believe That maybe 1000 stickers cost over 150 million dollars? Come on. Get ready to revolt and destroy all government. Or else we will be too unable to do so when the time becomes too late. Are you kidding? California is the best at taking as much money from its residents in every shady way possible to line the pockets of its politicians. So of course the state will nickel and dime you wherever possible.

CRV is refundable when you take your beverage container back to a recycling center. Yes, you must pay CRV when using a ebt card.
