This is a very big topic, if it's a personal question rather than a research one then i really suggest you speak to family and friends. I can only offer my personal opinions as its a moral discussion not a scientific one.
I believe it's a persons own prerogative, they should be allowed to make their own free choices and if this includes death then why should we stop them? At the end of the day one persons life is only important to their peers and if they are mutually confident this is the best outcome of somebody suffering in pain or living a futile vegetative existence then why would we spend money and time keeping them alive?
If writing about this, your best using your own opinions, expressing your feelings here, many religions disagree with this and class it alongside abortion and murder... I think religion is ridiculous... So it's all a matter of opinion.

Not necessarily. While some legal duties may arise from moral obligations, legal duties in euthanasia are primarily established by statutory laws and regulations that govern the practice. These laws can reflect societal values and ethical considerations, but they do not always align with individual moral beliefs. Therefore, not every legal duty in euthanasia is directly founded on a moral obligation.
