legal to own one but illegal to carry
No, it's illegal. Unless it's for a collection or antique.
No, Switchblades are illegal for citizens to own in the united states. Only exceptions are if you are connected with law enforcement/government OR if you can in california in which they are legal but the maximum blade length is 2 inches.
if it has a semi automatic/automatic switch, than yes it IS illegal to own or sell outside the Military
No, it is not illegal to own a switch blade knife in the state of Kentucky. Kentucky has no laws prohibiting or limiting the ownership of knives but when it comes to carrying them on your person, it has to be an "ordinary pocket or hunting knife". And for the rest of the carrying laws, it is dependant on your local jurisdiction. Short answer; it is legal to own but not necisarily carry dependant on the laws of the local jurisdiction.
Butterfly knives are illegal only if you are carrying them with intent to harm. It is legal for you to own them and keep them at home--for collection. You can also get a trainer, this is legal to carry.
From what I have read (the knife laws section of NC) you cannot posses a switchblade at all in America but you are allowed to own a butterfly knife as long as it's on YOUR OWN premises
Legal to own illegal to carry unless you are handicaped such as one arm or missing fingers.
(i am not a lawyer buy any means and am answering this according to my knowledge) Not entirely. it is illegal to carry around in the public if the blade exceeds 2 inches but it is not illegal to own on your own property even if it excceds 2 inches though how you can get it into your home without any legal issues i have no idea and is actually my question to.
Not 100% sure, but I've seen multiple places online say it is LEGAL as long as the blade doesnt exceed 4 inches.
They are legal to own but you cannot carry them on your person.
Project 64 is not illegal on its own. It is downloading games that you don't own that is illegal. If you own the original games, however, I am sure it is not illegal.
