Maui is south of Oahu.
Visit Maui. I was on there and it is more calm and quiet while still having lots of fun activities to do.
There are Fun Factories located in the states of Hawaii, California, and Georgia. To be more specific, there are locations on Oahu, Maui, Big Island, and Kauai on Hawaii.
There are two main (principal) islands that form New Zealand. The North Island and the South Island. The North Island is home to such cities as Auckland and Rotorura and of course the capital Wellington. The South Island is home to such cities as Christchurch and Queenstown. The South Island is known for its adventure sports. Other well-known Islands are Stewart Island, Tiritiri Matangi and Rangitoto.
Aloha; Though there are 100 or more, the main 8 are: Hawai`i, O'ahu, Maui, Lanai'i, Kooholawe, Molokai'i, Kauai'i, and Nihau.
i don't know that a city is there... More of a nice fishing spot... It's in hawaii, off maui. google it! :)
New Zealand is made up of two main islands, the North Island, or Te Ika-a-Maui, and the South Island, or Te Waipounamu. Though larger than the North Island, the South Island is much less populous.
The answer is 136 islands in the Hawaiian Island chain. There are more in the Emperor chain of volcanic seamounts that stretches to the Aleutian Trench off Kamchatka, Russia. The 8 major islands are the largest and newest geologically. They are in the southeast of the chain and are (from NW to SE) st) Niʻihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Kaho'olawe, Maui and the "big island" of Hawaii.

IMPROVED: Though, I agree with the first poster, the question really is "...choose for what?" I live on Maui. I love Maui, but O'ahu has many thigns that Maui does not. Take into consideration things like:- local customs and living, or more universal life styles- an urban lifestyle (like in Hono), or a more laid back lifestyle even inLaHaina (Maui)- more population (O'ahu) - less population (Maui)- which is prettier - both great)- O'ahu is more expensive- and more...........(first response) Maui without a doubt!
CORRECTED: Aloha: In 2010, Maui had a population of 144,444 which was the third highest in Hawai`i. Oʻahu and Hawaiʻi (the Big Island) are higher. 5,567,203 say there govener No, no no! I wish people would be serious if they are going to answer a question here. The population of Maui based on the last census is about 155 thousand people, and the population for the entire state of Hawaii is about 1.3 million people, with the vast majority living on Oahu in Honolulu.
