Is the Adelaide Gaol really haunted?

I personally don't think it is. I have been there for a sleepover and felt or saw nothing, and slept quite well! But some say it is haunted based on the number of executions held there. I would say that it has an ominous and depressing presence.

According to myths and legends the Old Melbourne Gaol is said to be haunted and some say Ned Kelly haunts the Gaol.

In reality, haunting and ghosts come under the heading of "superstition", so no, the Old Melbourne Gaol is not haunted.
