To fix a leaking shower drain, you can try tightening the drain flange, replacing the rubber gasket or seal, or applying plumber's putty around the edges of the drain. If the leak persists, you may need to replace the entire drain assembly.
Loosen the tensioner pulley. Put the belt around the alternator pulley and the tensioner pulley. Move the tensioner pulley to the right until the belt is tight. Tighten the tensioner pulley.
You need to remove the two sections of the hose carrier assembly. Then unscrew the inner hose adapter and replace with a new one. Typically these break when you leave water in the hose and it freezes. You can buy the new assembly for around $5 in Canada at Rona.
If your Renault Scenic is leaking water into the boot, the most common sources of the leak include a faulty tailgate seal, damaged or clogged drainage channels, or a leaking rear light assembly. Check the rubber seals around the tailgate for any signs of wear or damage. Additionally, inspect the drainage holes in the rear section of the vehicle to ensure they are clear of debris. If the issue persists, it may be advisable to consult a professional for a thorough inspection.
Yes, you can reseal a leaking headlight on a Honda Odyssey. First, remove the headlight assembly and clean the old sealant from the edges. Remove the air intake duct, if necessary. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 5.7 L. Install a breaker bar with hex-head socket to the drive belt tensioner bolt. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to relieve tension on the accessory drive belt. Remove the accessory drive belt from the pulleys and tensioner. Slowly release tension on the drive belt tensioner. Remove the breaker bar and socket from the drive belt tensioner bolt. Clean and inspect the drive belt surfaces of all the pulleys. Route the accessory drive belt around all the pulleys except the water pump pulley and tensioner. Install a breaker bar with hex-head socket to the drive belt tensioner bolt. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to relieve tension on the drive belt tensioner. Install the accessory drive belt under the water pump pulley. Install the accessory drive belt onto the drive belt tensioner. Slowly release the tension. Remove the breaker bar and socket from the drive belt tensioner bolt. Install the air intake duct, if necessary. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 5.7 L. Inspect the accessory drive belt for correct alignment.
Usually you'll have some leaking around the plug... get a flexible necked mirror and a flashlight and look around it for leaking cooolant.
To replace a serpentine belt tensioner, first, ensure the engine is off and cool. Use a wrench to relieve tension on the serpentine belt and remove it from the tensioner. Unbolt the old tensioner from its mount and install the new tensioner in the same position. Finally, re-route the serpentine belt around the pulleys, ensuring it's properly aligned, and release the tensioner to apply tension to the belt.
make sure you have a diagram, use a long box end wrench to torque the tensioner which is near the top. When you rotate the bolt head, it will relax the tensioner. Remove the belt and then replace around all components except the tensioner. Push on the tensioner wrench again to make room for the belt to go over tensioner.
Loosen the tensioner pulley. Put the fan belt around the pulleys. Pry the tensioner pulley to the right until the belt is tight. Tighten the tensioner pulley nut.
Just replaced the fan belt on my citroen xsara. The problem I had was increasing the tension. I eventually sorted it by Loosening bolt on tensioner with a T45 TRX key. The tensioner can now slide up/down to increase/decrease tension. When new fan belt is on correctly, to get a nice tight belt rotate large nut on tensioner with a socket. I used an adjustable pipe wrench as i did not have a socket big enough.Do not have a diagram for fan belt but will try to explain. 3 pulleys and 1 tensioner. Place belt over near side pulley and rear pulley.Next from bottom of near pulley run the belt over top of the tensioner. The belt goes around the back of the tensioner and comes forward towards you around the third pulley. That's itNow tighten her up.Hope this makes since.
intake manifold gasket is leaking. They are famous for it around 80000 miles
