I am sure most of it's part lies in Nepal. It lies in the north east of Nepal, only a very little part of it lies in Tibet. Himalayas are seen from Tibet but they lie in Nepal.
The Appalachian Mountains lie directly west of the thirteen original colonies.
The Rocky Mountains lie just west of the Great Plains. They stretch from Canada down to New Mexico and are known for their rugged terrain and diverse ecosystems. The Rocky Mountains act as a natural barrier between the Great Plains and the western states.
The Appalachian Mountains lie east of the Interior Plains in North America.
The Appalachian Mountains lie west of the thirteen colonies.

The Great Plains
The mountains surrounding Tucson all belong within several ranges. To the south, there is nothing until Mt. Wrightson & Mt. Hopkins. To the east lies Mica Mountain and Rincon Peak. To the west lies the Tucson Mountains and Wasson Peak (these are the closest to the city center). To the north lie the Catalina Foothills which lead up to the Santa Catalina Mountains. Mt. Kimble and Thimble Peak are the most recognizable peaks from town.
