There are many symbols which are connected to the Orthodox Russian Church. However probably the most common one is the Slavic Cross, also sometimes called the Byzantine or 3 Bar Cross. It is depicted as a cross (sometimes with Christ depicted on it) with two smaller bars one directly above and one directly below the intersection of the large center bar. The top bar is straight while the bottom bar is slanted. The top bar represents the sign that Pontius Pilate ordered affixed to the cross with the inscription Jesus Of Nazareth King of the Jews. The bottom slanted bar represent the foot board to which Jesus' feet were nailed.
