Bulgaria has thrived amazingly in my garden. Eight little seedlings no bigger than three inches tall survived a very cold winter and are now massive - loaded with flower buds and look very healthy with leaves much bigger than the buddleia hedge in my garden here in uk. This is their second year and are growing from strength to strength. We prune them hard in March.
Every March I set hundreds of sunflower seeds in my garden - and they give a fantastic exotic feel to the garden. (They are food for the donkeys in the autumn!).
We also have a brilliant display of violas, lupins and wallflowers. In our village in north eastern Bulgaria (4 miles from the sea) there are loads of poppies everywhere in spring.

Plants and animals naturally live and grow in their natural habitat, which is a specific environment that provides the necessary resources for their survival, such as food, water, shelter, and space. Different species have evolved to thrive in specific habitats, like forests, deserts, grasslands, or oceans. These habitats support biodiversity and ecosystems.
