Luxembourg is a heavily forested area and so you get all the usual animals that you will find in a Northern European woodland habitat, similar to the UK, especially, deer, red fox, hedgehogs, rabbits, frogs, and a wide variety of birds. The main difference is probably the presence of wild boar, although these animals are quite shy and keep away from humans. The last wolf was seen some 200 years ago.
