What are some points of interest in Oregon?

I've only heard this in stories, but Crater Lake seems to be a great spot! There are many myths I had researched a long time ago, and it seems quite interesting. Other than that, Oregon is basically a ghost town...

There are so many points of interest in Oregon you would have to know where you'll be. For example, in the Northwest corner of the state all of these can be found:

Astoria: Columbia bar is the most dangerous bar in the world.

Portland: The Portland sea wall is the furthest inland seaport on the west coast.

Hood River: The Columbia Gorge is one of the most amazing sights anywhere, including the Multnomah Falls.

On the coast you have the town of Seaside. Lots of shops, arcades, miles of beach and lighthouses

Southwest Oregon:

Oregon Caves: Tours of ancient marble caves

Oregon Gold Adventures: Learn to be a real gold miner

Oregon Cats: See over 35 species of big cats

Southeast Oregon:

Some of the best, if not only, places in the world to find sunstones, a rare gemstone. One can also find opal and geodes (in Oregon they're called Thunder Eggs)

Northeast Oregon:

Hundreds of ghost towns, gold mines, blue mountains, Pendleton Roundup - one of the largest rodeos in the west.

So you see, we've offered several here and we've yet to scratch the surface. There are so many things to see and do in Oregon that you could - literally - spend an entire lifetime doing them and you'd never see them all.
