the tax rate would increase if metro comes in kochi.
people say tat metro will reduce the traffic jams but i suggest flyovers instead of metro rail.if there are about 10 flyovers it might cost around 300 crores but a metro rail would cost 5,000 crores. it cannot be afforded by all people. to reach near a metro station itself we would have to travel using taxi,auto rickshaw,bus and all and so some money would be spent like tat and then for the metro a certain amount so i say metro is not needed for kochi as the state is small compared to delhi,chennai and all which have metro
