Pakistan is a developing country and we cannot use renewable power resources due to lack of finance and technical assistanceWe donot have alternative sources of energy due to the requirement of the people and various industries we do mining of coal and use of various industries especially in thermal power plantsWe have fewer deposits of oil and low quality coal
Pakistan has a natural gases, a limited amount of petroleum, poor quality coal, salts, copper, and limestone.
Coal is of limited value to Pakistan because of several factors..firstly it is a fossil fuel that is it exist in limited amount and if the use continues it will exhaust..Pakistan produces a low quality coal(LIGNITE).It is volatile that is it has a low boiling point and because of high moisture and ash content it has a low heating value..it even badly deteriorated during storage..Many industries do not use coal today because coal mining operations require lot of improvement and modernization..Although new reserves of coal have been discovered as 7508 million tons of coal have been discovered in 8 major fields in Lower Sindh..And as the focus of the coal policy is on power generation through gasification of coal, the conversion of coal in coal gas which is made up of carbon monoxide, methane and hydrogen pollutes the environment...
Pakistan has low quality of coal (lignite) because pakistan is a poor country which dont have good machinary to dig out the best coal which is found very deep underground. So pakistan mainly use lignite which is found near the surface and it is easier to mine. And this is a natural fact which can not be changebut this type of coal is also very useful if it is developed ,this coal is mainly used to produce electrical energy.

To use it for cooking/heating purpose, to produce energy/electricity. And eventually to export.

Quetta, located in the Balochistan province of Pakistan, is not a major coal-producing region itself, but the province is rich in coal resources. The coal mines near Quetta, such as those in the surrounding districts, contribute to the overall coal production in Balochistan. The coal extracted is primarily used for local energy needs and is also transported to other regions for industrial use. However, the coal industry in the area faces challenges related to safety and environmental concerns.
The human use of coal (burning to make electricity) and the greenhouse gas this emits (carbon dioxide) is causing a serious impact (global warming and climate change) on the biotic factors who live on earth (us humans and other animals).
Human factors affecting soil formation include deforestation, urbanization, overgrazing, and use of agricultural practices like monoculture and excessive use of fertilizers. These activities can lead to soil erosion, compaction, and contamination, which can degrade soil quality and fertility.
why is it important to use solar energy in Pakistan
