Place:
Mountinous, dry, lots of Cacti and desert creatures like lizards, vultures, and taratulas.
A lot of people in Las Vegas do work in construction, mining, and casinos.
Most of the Vegas population is located in the more urbanized parts of Las Vegas.
Human Enviorment Interaction:
There are a lot of houses being built in Las Vegas, especially recently. However, there is also the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Strip to name the main ones.
Movement: Las Vegas tends to make money in the tourism industry, and not much else besides the minerals it produces. It tends to recieve many more exports than it imports. Without tourism, Las Vegas would cease to exist. Saying that, the tourism tends to draw many celebrities and pop culture to the city.
Region:
Not sure about region, but probably a mix of Place and Movement.
I hope this helps!

Taken together, all of these themes work to please both humanity and nature. Place and location can provide a foundation for observation in geography. These themes can be used to state a resolution for two questions: "where is it?", and "why is it there?"
