Asian houses wre typically made of clay and concrete. They had very little materials to use, so they used just about anything they could to keep them warm at night and cool at day. Their tables and chairs were made of wood. (Not sturdy wood though.) Their beds were on the ground.
Most Asian houses we also on a small farm with cows, chickens and sheep. These we essential for living other wise you had to go to work to earn monkey to put food on the table. Many families even had the women working on the "farm" to keep the animals healthy... So they could eat them later on...
