June to august-early dry season (wurrgeng): temperatures drop during the day but raise during the night and morning mist. August to september- hot dry season (Gurreng): hot period before the rain comes, no cloud in skys, time to hunt animals such as file snakes and long neck turtles. September to december- premoonsonal season (gunmeleng): irregular storms in the afternoon, spear grass starts to grow, the land starts turning green, animals start to come out. They start to move camp sitesso there camp won't become flooded. Spring (riwuri) time of growing and mating summer(luwadang) time of warmth autumn (marangani or marangalkadi) time of the crow winter (yutang) time of the cold.
