Midas is not a god.
The god in King Midas was Dionysus, the god of wine. KING MIDAS WASNT A GOD AT ALL BUT REALLY KING MIDAS WAS A VERY GREEDY MAN THAT TURNED EVERYTHING HE TOUCHED TO GOLD BUT WHEN HE TURNED HIS DAUGHTER TO GOLD HE FELT THAT HE HAD LOST HIS GREATEST TREASURE!!!
I don't think he was a god.
Dionysos, the god, gave this to MIdas, not an animal.
God knows to be honest
No, he was king of Lydia.
Whatever Midas touched became gold.
superhuman physical characteristics.
Dionysus, god of wine and grapes, gave Midas any wish he desired after Midas found his friend Sileas.
Midas was never a greek god. He was a friend of Dionysus who was granted a wish. His name is the same in Roman and Greek mythology.
Arachne, Tantalus, Midas, Syssiphus....
Midas was not a god, he was a very greedy king who wished that thing he touched would turn to gold. Given that gold is not edible, he died of starvation.
Perhaps after some promotion of their product being as good as gold, or getting money's worth. Midas was not a Greek god, but a King of Phrygia.
