When in the Fall going up into the Ozark's is beautiful. Also going to Mt.Magazine is really beautiful and fun it also has really good trails to walk down. Also if coming to Little Rock just going downtown into the River Market it really cool and awesome food. Also if into books the Cox building downtown is really cool if you go downstairs books are always on sale

• Arkansas Post-The first semi-permanent European settlement in the lower Mississippi Valley dated around 1686.
• Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs National Park-Eight bathhouse buildings that were constructed between the years of 1892 and 1923, and is the only federally run spa.
• Camden Expedition Sites-Nine Civil War battle sites located throughout Arkansas.
• Centennial Baptist Church-Base of Elias Camp Morris, former slave and preacher who became president of the National Baptist Convention in 1895.
• Daisy Bates House-Command post for the desegregation of Little Rock Central High School 1957-1958. .
• Eaker Site-Prehistoric archaeological site located near Blytheville, the largest and most intact Late Mississippian Nodena site in the Central Mississippi Valley.
• Fort Smith-Consists of two 19th-century U.S. military forts and the Federal Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
• Joseph Taylor Robinson House-Home of Arkansas governor and U.S. senator.
• Little Rock Central High School-Recognized for its role in the desegregation of public schools in 1957.
• Menard-Hodges Site-Archaeological site that is part of the Arkansas Post National Memorial which includes two large mounds and several house mounds.
• Nodena Site-Site of an important Late Mississippian cultural component called the Nodena phase, which dates from about 1400-1700.
• Old State House-Located in Little Rock, is the oldest surviving state capitol building west of the Mississippi River.
• Parkin Indian Mound (Parkin Archeological State Park)-A large platform mound on the river bank, the remains of an American Indian village c.1000-1600.
• Rohwer Relocation Center Memorial Cemetery-Site of a World War II Japanese American internment camp.
• Starting Point of the Louisiana Purchase Survey(Louisiana Purchase State Park)-At the junction of Lee, Monroe and Phillips counties preserves the initial point from which all surveys of the property acquired in 1803.
• Toltec Mounds Site (Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park)-An 18 mound site that was inhabited from A.D. 650 to 1050.
• USS Hoga (tugboat)-Served as fireboat during the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the Navy selected the City of North Little Rock, Arkansas for permanent display after it had served as a fireboat for the City of Oakland, California.

There are many beautiful and interesting tourist attractions in Arkansas, especially in and around the Ozark Mountains. For example, if you like museums, there is the Arkansas Air and Space Museum, or the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. If you prefer the outdoors, try Blanchard Springs Caverns (you can also go on cave tours or go camping nearby); there is also Eureka Springs, and Mammoth Spring State Park. In or near Little Rock, there is the state capitol (a beautiful and historic building), the Little Rock Zoo, and for history buffs, visit the Little Rock Central High School National Historical site, which commemorates the struggle for civil rights.
