What are the pros and cons about living in Italy?

The heat can be stifling in Milan during the summer, as the heat gets trapped between the buildings and it can seem there is no breeze. Many of the people who live there travel to the coast for the hottest months July/ August. If travelling there in the Winter be prepared for snow.

PROS: Has some of the most beautiful cities in the world, Has a high educational level, excellent food like Italian Pizza and cheeses, Excellent Italian designed cars like the Ferrari 458 itilia and the Fiat 500, just like other countries in western Europe, a better passenger train system than in North and South America, excellent Italian Classical and rap music. Friendly people, and excellent beaches

CONS: Italy( especially the southern part) is home to the Sicilian Mafia, Making Naples dangerous to live in. Also the southern part of Italy is the poor part( due to the southern part, including Rome not having a very industrialized economy like the northern part) , making crime there high, but lower than in the U.S.. No longer a completely safe place for women to walk alone at night, because over the years there have been more accounts on Rape and Robbery across the country. Although legal( but not completely) Prostitution is considered part of life in Italy. If just being a tourist anywhere in Italy, be careful not to fall for tourist scams. Cost of living in Italy is the highest in the E.U., especially the food which is twice as high as in the U.S. and the Gasoline prices, which is €4.00( US$5.00) per gallon

there are no down sides of living in italy. itsa beautiful country with lots of opportunities, besides the socialized medicine of course.
