What are the united nations doing about the killing in Darfur?

The United Nations and the "White" world have not yet gotten involved in the raging genocide in Darfur for two reasons onebecause the Americans are in coalition with the Sudan government and two their is nothing in it for the rest of the world to get out of getting involved in the whole mess. " money is the rot of all evil" and this is a perfect example since their is no way to make a profit then the United Nations will never get involved. it's sad but it's the truth and until the world decides toGrow a setand stop looking out for number one then I feel that we will see many more slaughtering of millions of innocent people before the "White" world gets involved.

What does the UN do in Darfur? Very little. UN peace keepers have been sent to Darfur to, well, keep the peace between the Darfurians (who have done nothing) and the janjaweed (hired by the Sudanese Government to exterminate the Darfurians) The only problem there is that the UN peace keepers can not fire their weapons unless being fired upon. Since it is the Darfurians wanted dead and not the peace keepers, very little is actually being done to protect the people of Darfur.

Because the UN is basically an entity through which the US, UK, France, Italy and Germany rule the world, as at this point it does not affect and of the aforementioned countries they see no point in taking action.
