they explored the gods and different ways of putting the egytians in the after life .
The Egyptians believed that the gods wielded their power in various way. Some ways included famine, disease, floods, fertility, and prosperity.
An Egyptian could wrong the gods by neglecting their religious duties, such as failing to perform rituals or offerings that honor the deities. Another way would be to commit acts of hubris, such as defying the will of the gods or acting in a way that disrupts the cosmic order (Ma'at). Lastly, engaging in immoral behavior, such as theft or deceit, would also be seen as an affront to the gods, as it undermines the values they championed.
The Egyptians believed that if they worshiped their gods, they would provide for them crops, fortune, and a good after-life. Osiris, the god of the Underworld would provide barely, a crop widely known to Egyptians and very common. Also, the Egyptian goddess of warfare would keep killing until all the mortals were dead if they did not pray to her after a war or battle had been lost. There are many ways in Egyptian mythology that the gods helped the mortals.
ask your teacher...:P
he knew the ways around tools, and carfts. he could make traps no other gods could figure out. -leah
The same way all ancient people used it: they made up fanciful stories about giant birds eating the sun to explain sunset and gods having chariot races to explain thunder. EDIT: The ancient Egyptians used religion to understand nature with their gods. For example: Anubis was the jackal the Egyptians thought that the jackal was an animal that controlled death(as the Anubis mask was worn in mummification), and made it the god of death. EDIT2: Above that ancient egyptians related volcanoes , earthquakes and other natural disasters to religious figures as a rage of one of their religious gods.

Socrates was seen as an enemy to the state because he was said to be influencing the young people in the wrong ways (they believed that he denied the existence of the gods).
