Lincolns wife was devastated because of her sons death and now her husbands. as for the people who were involved they were hung half the the others were sent to hard labor because they werent as invloved as other. one man was sentenced to labor but not a big punishment for him because he played a little role in the Lincoln assassination the man held the horse for the killer by the time booth came back from the theater the horse would be ready and he would have a easy flee
