Pandesol, a small, soft Spanish bread, like a dinner roll (US).

Puto, a rice flour 'muffin'.

Taho, a very soft tofu, with a brown sugar syrup and 3/8" balls of some gelatinous substance, served warm form vendors walking through the streets in a 6oz plastic glass and a straw.

Rice congi, a gruel of overcooked rice, garlic, a piece of boiled chicken and a boiled egg.

More traditional, anything available too slow to get away, any life form, mammal, reptile, insect, feathered, aquatic (fresh or salt), amphibious or vegetative. Perhaps mineral, depending upon locale.
