Christmas is a big deal for brazilians. It is when they reunite with family and friends to celebrate the birth of Jesus. In general, on christmas night people go to church and then share a feast (turkey is the main dish) with family and friends. People exchange presents on the 25th, although this costume is more common for children. They do have decorate their homes with christmas trees and the outside of their houses with christmas lights (also in pulbic areas). in general, children believes in Santa Claus (Papai Noel).
