The tradition of Santa Claus doen't really exist in Iraq- the vast majority of the nation's population are Muslims of either Sunni or Shia persuasion, and although they believe that Christ was one of the prophets, they don't believe that he was The Messiah. Thus Christmas is not kept by Iraqi Muslims other than by remembering it as the birthday of an important religious figure as part of their daily prayers in the mosque.

Iraqi Christians, whilst celebrating Christmas, don't have a tradition of Father Christmas. He is really a Western European phenomenon derived from Saint Nicholas, and is not a part of Christian custom outside of the Western world (although in Eastern Europe and Russia, there is an equivalent character called 'Grandfather Frost' who was pretty much the same thing, a jolly old man who was the bearer of gifts). Even in the West, he was traditionally depicted wearing GREEN up until the late 1920s- his costume was changed to red as an advertising technique by the Coca-Cola Company!!
