The London Eye is a giant ferris wheel owned by Merlin Entertainments on the South bank of the River Thames.

You enter a British Airways capsule with around 20 other people which is completely transparent, so to be able to see views across London. You, very slowly, go around the ferris wheel, which, I believe takes around 45 minutes to go all the way around.

Tickets cost around £10.00.
