I tow a 2005 Malibu LT (non-Maxx)... it is fuse 20.... I can't believe that the two would be different... I found where the fuse ran into the car (middle pedistal) and put a on/off switch in-line... I mounted it on the drivers side of the pedistal (cut a hole in the plastic)... works great.... have used it for nearly three years now.... Good luck...
