Organizations of learning, trade, the arts and and and increased education in the newly rediscovered classics and science came together giving us the Renaissance. The renaissance was the resuscitation of the Knowledge gathered during and before the Roman empire after more then a thousand years of darkness starting in Florence Italy and then spreading throughout Europe leading to massive changes in the arts knowledge and understanding of science.
