Really nice rich fertile land...on the side of mountains. Japan is one the the most volcanicly (is that a word even) active places on earth so there is lots of goodies in the soil but because of the mountainous terrain most of it is not seen as viable farming land, especially considering the crop choices here. They also seem to think that it is not good for housing but I think a lot of countries will disagree with that, there are lots of places with housing on hillsides.
Thanks, Mamesmumma but....... what makes it this way?
Mountains cover over 75% of Japans Land Surface.
377,944 km2
land of the rising sun
Japans land are unique because they have lots of natural distasters.
An example of a land mass is a continent or a country. Even maybe a very large island.
Japans population vs areable land is too large to support agriculture
long, narrow land mass........like a pencil
What do you mean with "land mass"? Neptune doesn't have continents like Earth. It is a gas giant - made up mainly of gas.
About 32% of the Earth's land mass is located in the Southern Hemisphere. Countries like Australia, Brazil, and Argentina contribute to a significant portion of this land area.
Japans natural resources are the ocean, the forest, and farming
Like, really big. It was intense. <3
What is the land mass measurements of Tahiti
