there is currently many problems with health and living conditions due to the fact that haiti is the poorest country in the western world, many lavalas supporteers are rioting because they want preval out of powr and aristide back in power, the country has had some stablization in the past 4 years with some improvements to roads and the un has supresed gang activity but kidnappings are still a problem, the murder rate is high espically in port au prince,
