What is it like in Montana?

Montana is a very unique, depopulated, and rugged state. The eastern side is quite flat and barren, with many ranches and wide open spaces. Hence the name, "big sky country". The western part, however, is surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and abundant wildlife, including grizzly bears and many other "big game" animals. The state has two world renowned National Parks in it; Glacier National Park, and Yellowstone National Park, each which is uniquely different from the other. There are no huge cities with skyscrapers, but some "large towns", or "small cities", and then many very small and sporadic towns throughout. It is best known for it's beautiful outdoors, adventurous opportunities for the wilderness lover, breathtaking scenery, opportune escape from the madness that is found in heavily populated areas, and it's full four seasons; each of which brings a new spectrum of life and activity. Montana is dubbed "the last best place" for a reason.

Yes! With Helena as the capitol, and Billings as the biggest city it is a marvelous state to live in! If you want a vacation get away whether its skiing in the Mountains, or tubing on all of our lakes, its sure to make a smile across your face!! :)
