The Northern Region of Brazil is the largest Region of Brazil, 45.27% of the national land. It has the least amount of people in the country, and has a minor percentage in the national GDP(gross domestic product) and population. It consists of the states of Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins.

Its population is the lowest considering all the regions of the country, with only 2,92 people living there per km2. Most of the population is centered in urban areas.
