This really depends on the traffic conditions of any particular day. The freeway ends near Ko Olina (just past the city of Kapolei) and Farrington Highway begins (a long stretch of rode that leads into O'ahu's leeward coast (Makaha Valley remains near the very end).

Traffic through the leeward coast is often unbearable as road work is constantly going on - there are only a few lanes in and a few lanes out.

On a good day, it may take 1 hour - 1.5 hours to get from Makaha Valley to Honolulu.
