What is the average monthly rental rate for a flat in Madrid Spain?

To put it simply, these are the prices for quality properties expats tend to like in the center of Madrid:

• Room in Shared Flat: 400 - 550 € per month
• Studio: 700 - 900 € per month
• 1 Bedroom Apartment (50-80 m2): 900 - 1400 € per month
• 2 Bedroom Apartment (70-100 m2): 1200 - 1700 € per month

A good way to look at it is that the m2 per month goes from 15 to 20 € depending on the location and quality of the flat.
