No big difference, the resort is divided into two symmetrical halves, tucan and quatzel. Quatzel is more "colonial" and tucan is more "exotic" the placement of the rooms is a bit different and they have a large waterfall on the quatzel side, but in general its almost exactly the same, only tucan has one additional resturant and quatzel has a 24 hour doctors office. Both sides share the same pool and beach, wherever you are staying you are allowed to visit both tucan and quatzel.
