Birds of Prey present very little danger to people generally,.. There are reports of large Birds of Prey such and Golden and Bald Eagles aswell as Condors and Eagle Owls taking children.
However there is little evidence to support any of these claims. Realistically it is unlikely that a bird could carry off a human child due to the weight of the child compared to that of birds as they are built lightly for flight, human children being mammals are much heavier. New born infants are the only humans who could in reality be in any danger from large Birds of Prey as new borns weigh but a few ounces.
