The Hawaiian Islands.
In Hawaiian, Niihau means "the forbidden one" or "the small island." It is also known as the "Forbidden Isle" due to its limited access to visitors.

Niihau does not have any cities. It is a privately owned island in Hawaii that is only open to its residents and invited guests. The island is primarily inhabited by native Hawaiians and is known for its preservation of traditional Hawaiian culture.
Of the eight main Hawaiian Islands it is Ni'ihau.
According to scientists AND logic ( erosion of existing islands) the first island to surface was in all likelihood the island of Niihau and then in chronolocigal order going southeast the Big Island.
Niihau is what I think your talking about. It is an island that is privately owned by a family called the robinsons. It has only native hawaiians on it. You can only go there if you were born there or invited by the robinsons

The oldest Hawaiian islands are Kauai and Niihau, which are believed to have formed around 5 million years ago. These islands are located in the northwest part of the Hawaiian island chain and are considered the oldest because they were the first to emerge from the volcanic activity that formed the islands.
There are 8 major islands and 137 minor. There are eight "main" Islands: Hawaii, Oahu, Maui, Lanai. Kahoolawe, Kauai, Niihau an Molokai.
