The highest elevation in Paris is often mistakenly listed in guidebooks as Sacre Couer in Montmartre. In actuality, though, that distinction belongs to Rue du Telegraphe on a hill of Belleville. Sacre Couer is located at 426 feet abouve sea level, whereas Rue du Telegraphe is 485 feet above sea level.
