- Groom + Bride (together) photo pp 1.5in x 2in - 4 nos.(will be pasted on certificate, so get a good one :))
- Affidavit from Groom
- Affidavit from Bride
- Groom's Ration Card (as proof of his address)
- Bride's Parent's Ration Card (as proof of her parent's address)
- Bride's Age Proof (10/12 certificate)
- Groom's Age Proof (10/12 certificate)
- 4-8 Photos of marriage which should include
- Groom's Parent's photo .
- Bride's Parent's photo pp.
- Pandits photo (photo of fere).
- Sign of Pandit/Temple…etc wherever marriage took place on one form with their address.
- Marriage card from Bride/Groom
- 6) Sign of MC(area of bride/groom wherever ceremony took place) on one form.
- 100/- fee
You can submit all these things in the Municipal committee and need to sign(bride & groom) on one certificate in front of officer there.
If you are doing this process within 2 years of your marriage, certificate will be handed over pretty soon(will be prepared by local corporation), but if more than 2 years then it'll be processed in Chandigarh and process can take pretty much time.
