The Siberian Plain, also known as the West Siberian Plain, covers an area of approximately 2.5 million square kilometers (about 965,000 square miles). It extends across western Siberia in Russia, bordered by the Ural Mountains to the west and the Yenisei River to the east. This vast lowland region is characterized by its flat terrain, numerous rivers, and extensive wetlands.
