Being of low strike for distribution increases the value,

a 1945 Victory medallion in "mint" condition can fetch any where between $1,000 and $5,000 depending on the condition of the plating, so the value is no less than $1,000 AUD in fine condition and $2,000 to $5,000 in very fine condition, i my self have only seen two of these medallions in my life time of 30 years of being a collector of coinage, bank notes and medals.
