The value of a Browning Citori made in Japan in 1984 can vary significantly based on factors such as its condition, model, and any unique features. Generally, these shotguns can range from $800 to $2,500 or more. A well-maintained model with original features and limited wear will fetch a higher price. For an accurate valuation, it's best to consult recent sales data or a firearms appraisal expert.

It probably is. Yes they were made in Japan. The "PW" = 1984. The "117" is the question... I can not find the sub-model "117" under A-bolt, or any other Browning. (I have one as well!) There has to be solution. Possibly a misprint for a "717" which would indicate a "hunter" model. I believe the hunter is a basic model. To make matters worse, mine is a "RP" which = 1978... A-bolts were not made until 1984.
