The Equator passes just north of Quito in Ecuador, through Colombia, along the northern part of Brazil. The countries of Venezuela, Guyana, and Suriname are completely north of the equator (along with French Guiana). The countries of Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay are completely south of the equator.
