The Arctic Ocean and North Pole.
Technically, no continent is north of Greenland as it is the northernmost piece of land on the planet. However, if you went from the northernmost part of Greenland and went north (passing the North Pole and ignoring that you are actually now going south), you'd reach Asia.
Actually, some dry land lies north of Finland. It is called Norway. North of that lies the Arctic Ocean.
Greenland lies closest to the North American coast, as it is an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark, located northeast of Canada.
Greenland
Iceland lies southeast of Greenland. It is situated in the North Atlantic Ocean, separated from Greenland by the Denmark Strait. The proximity of these two countries contributes to their shared Norse history and cultural connections.
Greenland lies on the North American tectonic plate. The North American plate extends across much of North America, including Greenland, and is surrounded by other plates such as the Eurasian plate to the east and the North Atlantic plate to the west. Greenland is part of the larger tectonic framework of the Arctic region.
Denmark
The Labrador Sea lies between Canada and Greenland.
Ohio, along with most of North America and parts of Russia and Greenland, lies on the North American Plate.
