The island country of São Tomé and Principe, south of Nigeria in the Gulf of Guinea, receives more average rainfall than any of the continental countries. Both Sierra Leone and Liberia receive more than their neighboring countries, even though the two wettest individual locations on the continent are in Equatorial Guinea (city of Ureca) and Cameroon (village of Debundscha).
