Vestigial organs is the term referring to useless organs left from evolution.
absolutely nothing. they are useless and should be ignored
The appendix is a worm-shaped organ attached to the entrance of many mammal's colons. It contains lymphatic tissue, which integrates with the body's circulatory and immune systems. Researchers recently discovered that it harbors a cache of beneficial bacteria that can recolonize the gut after alimentary trauma. In contrast, Darwin imagined that it was a useless leftover from a distant evolutionary past. Darwinists today expect the appendix to appear in animals that supposedly share evolutionary ancestors. But details from a new study on the appendix refute both Darwin and Darwinists.
A structure in an organism that serves little to no use. Vestigial structures are degenerated and range from slightly harmful to useless to slightly useful. They are remnants of an organism's evolutionary past.
useless
Useless course
He is useless because you stated that he is. He may-not be useless.
While the appendix and coccyx may not serve a critical function in humans, they are believed to be remnants from our evolutionary past. The appendix may have played a role in digesting certain types of food in our ancestors, while the coccyx is a vestigial structure from when our ancestors had tails. While they may not be necessary in modern humans, they do not necessarily harm us either.
USELESS
useless>pointless
"Useless" in Afrikaans is "nutteloos."
That belief is completely untrue and possibly dangerous. This is part of the thinking of extremist groups of people that end up willing to kill and die for a supposedly godly ideology. If you believe in a creating deity, then concluding that life is useless leads you to the conclusion that the deity put a lot of effort and care into a useless activity (the creation of life). If you do not believe in a creating deity, you are still left with the experience of life itself and the awesome human struggle to make life better. If nothing else, these give meaning to life.
