What territory is the isle of man within?

The Isle of Man is NOT in any territory. It is legally a separate sovereign nation.

It has its own parliament, named 'Tynwald'. It does NEITHER send MP's to the UK Parliament in Westminster, London, NOR to the Dail in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. .

However, the Isle of Man has treaty obligations with the Westminster Parliament, whereby they manage foreign and defence policies and relationshipos. The IoM sets its own tax rates, has its own health system, has its own legal system.

Access to the IoM is be ferry or airplane, but passports are NOT required.

The IoM has King Charles (III) as head of State.

It is in a unique position both with the UK and Internationally.

It is a Crown dependency of the British Crown. It is not a part of the UK (or EU) but neither is it a sovereign state. The Isle of Man has its own parliament, elections, makes its own laws and has its own health, police, education, finance and tax systems. People from the Isle of Man are British citizens but they can't vote in UK or EU elections, nor can they live and work in EU countries (excluding the UK and Ireland).
